Message from the SIBC2010 Organising Chairman

The Sabah International Business Conference (SIBC) is one of the major activities of Sabah International Expo (SIE). SIBC has co-existed with SIE since the year 2000 and its main objectives is to provide conference delegates with a platform to extend their network, and to provide conference delegates with a platform to extend their network, and to provide updates on key issues in the surrounding region. For the forthcoming SIB2010, the Conference aims to showcase the Sabah State Government's forest conservation efforts with a theme : "Growing Money From Trees".

SIBC2010 will stage the market potential sustainable forest management programmes where speakers involved in forest conservation and management will present and share their thoughts, and experience and will discuss how to make money from forests other than cutting them down. The Right Honourable Chief Minister of Sabah, Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Haji Aman will be the Keynote Speaker for SIBC2010 relating his involvement and experience as a policymaker in various forest conservation projects in Sabah.
