The 6th Sabah International Expo 2010 (SIE2010) will once again kick off from 15th to 19th October 2010 at 1Borneo Hypermall, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. It is a State Government sanctioned event organized by the Federation of Sabah Manufacturers (FSM) and the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce & Industries (MICCI), Sabah Branch with the corporation of the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) and Ministry of Industrial Development (MID) . This year's theme is "Sabah-Hub For The Far East".

It is the State's premier trade fair organized biennially since 2000. Since its inception, SIE has become one of the largest and most successful trade events in the BIMP-EAGA (Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines - East Asean Growth Area).

In the last 5 events, SIE has recorded an attraction of 199,501 visitors and participants from over 20 countries.

SIE2010 exhibitors are expected to come from more than 30 countries. SIE2010 capitalises on Sabah being the regional hub for the BIMP-EAGA region, a grouping of sub-regional economic cooperative zone covering more than 1.5 million sq.km, populated with more than 60 million people.
